What's new in Quickspan 0.2

2026-10-27

Quickspan 0.2 is out on Google Play. It's the biggest update since launch, and the idea hasn't changed: write your plans the way you'd say them and they're on your calendar, worked out on your phone.

Type or speak, in 12 languages. Quick add now understands English, Spanish, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian and Korean. Tap the mic and say it instead of typing; it's worked out on your phone too. Voice needs Android 12 or newer with on-device speech recognition. The date, time and place light up before you save, so you always see what will be created. These language versions were written with machine help and haven't been read by native speakers yet, so tell us when something sounds off: support@quickspan.app.

Reminders and a Join button. Get a reminder before an event, and tap Join on events with a Meet, Zoom or Teams link.

A fresh look. A calmer calendar header, event colours taken from your calendars, a tidier Calendars menu and a redesigned Pro page.

Pro, once. Pro is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, for themes, icons, extra widgets, holidays and more. The basics stay free: your calendar, search, reminders and typed quick add.

Still private. No account, no ads, no tracking, nothing collected. Your events stay on your phone, and the calendars you already keep in Google or Exchange keep syncing through your phone's accounts.

Still made for big screens. Phones get a readable few-day week, tablets and foldables get the week and today side by side.
